Digicon modernizes main accesses of Hospital Mãe de Deus

Digicon has been consolidating in the delivery of technological solutions for access control with increasingly specific applications. One area that stands out is the hospital sector.

Mãe de Deus Hospital, in Porto Alegre, is one of the most prestigious in the state. It has a medical team of more than 2,300 people, offering more than 300 beds in an area of approximately 55,000 m².

Mãe de Deus already had Digicon turnstiles of the Master, Clip, and Plus models at the main entrances. However, to further qualify its facilities, the hospital management requested a modern proposal from Digicon for user access control.

This project required an aesthetic remodeling in the hospital reception, employee entrances, and the main access without compromising internal security. To achieve this, the planning involved the hospital infrastructure team, architects, and Digicon consultants to bring greater comfort and an excellent experience for users.

As a solution, Digicon implemented dFlow model passages with QR Code/Mifare reader access at the main entrance, generating better entry flow for both patients and visitors, and a significant reduction in registration queues. For the trauma and emergency department accesses, dTower and dGate SW model passages were installed, integrated with SENIOR access software system, which improved the flow of employees.
