Peter Elbling – President of Digicon – comments: “I am very happy to receive this recognition for our innovation process. 2020 brought many changes, due to the pandemic, and in these more than 40 years of trajectory, Digicon has learned something very important: where there is change, there is an opportunity to innovate. And that’s exactly what the company has been doing this past year. The team is always on alert, turning new ideas into real innovations for some product or service that really helps our customers”, he explains.
The Director of Urban Mobility at Digicon, Helgio Trindade Filho, talks about the importance of this award for the company: “This award is an acknowledgment of Digicon’s performance, always guided by a DNA of innovation sown by its founder, Mr Elbling, who permeates the organization and is part of our mission. This recognition reinforces the view that we are on the right path, creating new products and services to improve the lives of people and our society”, he adds.
Trindade guarantees that the feeling is one of pride and satisfaction to see the work of all employees being recognized as something new, which creates new concepts, with the objective of helping, surprising and satisfying Digicon’s customers.
How the Southern Innovation ranking works
The Southern Innovation ranking aims to ensure that each company can measure its level of innovation, and can even be compared with companies in the same sector and others. The AMANHÃ group provides, on its different platforms and social networks, the link to the questionnaire. There, managers answer about 40 questions. The answers are processed at IXL-Center Central in Cambridge, Boston (United States). In total, more than 150 organizations and companies have applied for this year’s awards.
