dClock: Digicon electronic time clock recorder
Aiming to make time and attendance process safer for the workers, Digicon developed DigiREP. The device, designed in accordance with Ordinance 1510/2009 of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, was developed to ensure that the registered hours actually worked could not be altered in any way. For 2017, Digicon presents its new version of time and attendance device: the dClock. From INMETRO Ordinance 595/2013, the body responsible for the safety and certification processes of REP’s, dClock introduces innovations that aim to ensure that the equipment data are authentic and do not undergo changes. Digital signature on all outputs, a button that shows the identifiers of the internal programs and a digitally signed proof of registration are some of the new security features of the dClock. The technology also added the features of internal memories with data retention for at least ten years, and new mechanisms to identify if the printer paper is jammed.
